A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. I really like that this fan has wooden blades as I believe it takes fans to a whole Nother level of quality and style. However, I specifically wanted gray blades, and I’m having a hard time agreeing that these really look great. And the photos I hold it up to my bed, which is clearly gray, and it does not look anything like that. However, the blades will not be pressed against the frame of the bed and I still like the wood much better than the plastic looking blades. I am also very pleased that it comes with the lights kit. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. This is a very nice ceiling fan with lights! Exactly as pictured. Love the chrome color, and the blades are beautiful. The glass globe is fairly thick and speckled like raindrops.
