A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent. I really like that this fan has wooden blades as I believe it takes fans to a whole Nother level of quality and style. However, I specifically wanted gray blades, and I’m having a hard time agreeing that these really look great. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. It was easy to install, although the provided instructions were not very clear. Fortunately I'm an electrician so I didn't need to follow them. It looks sleek and the modern which goes well with our decor. I really like not having the pull cords hanging down. Having a Remote with this is awesome. I'm able to control everything from the fan speed, direction, light on or off along with it being a cool white or warm white. There is also a timer function for 2, 4 or 8 hours.
