A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Very nice fan! Sleek, lightweight, and the remote is easy to understand. Exactly as it looks. Some fans wobble quite readily, but this one is built to be steady (follow the instructions carefully). We used the longer down-rod, supplied, and the fan barely shifted, even on the highest speed. Note... if you currently have a fan that has 2 wall switches, you will need to consider that, as this fan is built for ONE wall switch, then both the fan and light work off of the remote.
