A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. I absolutely LOVE this fan! It’s a lovely addition to my office. Just what it needed. It’s got a comfortable and casual style with an organic, coastal feel. There’s an ugly, big, brown fan in my office now. It is so heavy in that room it makes the ceiling look low. The ceilings are nice and high and I want to highlight that with something that draws the eye up, that provides additional light in the room. The semi sheer strings of wooden beads are gorgeous. I read on another review that said the beads were ‘pearl not wood’. That’s not the case with my beautiful fan. The natural wood color keeps it organic and feminine, with the coastal vibe that runs throughout my home. Not anchors and lighthouses kind of coastal, but thru color and fabric and feel. Some beautiful abstract coastal artwork on the walls along with a few pops of midmod furniture in the light, bright coastal colors and wood tones. My wood tones are more of the driftwood color with the gray undertones. What I had when I moved in are these wood-look, dark brown, plank tile with dark brown grout. It’s uneven in a few places, has several chips and absolutely sucks the light out of rooms. So I’m going to install LVP flooring in a natural color and beautiful style and finish. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this light fixture! Again, other reviews said it was smaller than they expected. I had the opposite experience. Because of the very few reviews, that said it was small and in a few kids rooms, I was hesitant. When it was delivered, I do my count of all of the pieces, parts and tools are there. to be sure all of the parts and pieces are there. I was surprised at the beautiful fuller size! I guess I was picturing a tiny fixture after reading the reviews. It’s gorgeous. Just wow! It gets hung tomorrow and the installation looks really simple. Saving money on the installation! Nice! We bought 3 fans, 3 different sizes. We have installed 1 of them at this point. The fan has a simple, clean style. It works well, cools the room on low speed. We like the adjustable light. We like the look, it is a nice improvement over the outdated fan We had. I gave it 4 stars because the remote and our switch are not compatible. We will leave the switch on and only use the remote.. Yay we have light! Added this fan to the lake house bedroom that only had table lamps. We're very happy with the over head light that it provides as well as the air movement. Love that it has a remote and that it can be mounted to the wall as well since there isn't a light switch, well at least always know where the "remote" should be haha when walking into the room.
