This is a very nice rug! Its just a pity it gets rolled and flattened over time, (there isnt a cardboard roll in the middle to keep it round). It was very wavy when I unpacked it, but I got the idea to wet it with the garden hose, so that I could flatten it more easily. This is a nice rug - edging did start to unravel where I tried to pull of the tag (please cut it off). It's nice and sturdy, lays well. I would gut a rug pad underneath, though. The polyester fabric is super soft - like those plush blankets - and also is terrible to vacuum. My vacuum only have 2 settings: floor and carpet and both are too close to the carpet and it can't get air and sucks the carpet right up to the base of the vacuum. So can vacuum if I stand on it and pull the vacuum along it a little at a time. Just annoying and extra work. Also if you plan to lay on it (or your kids do) the static electricity is going to make sure all the pet hair on it sticks to your clothes! Beautiful rug. Pile is perfect for the low profile bed it sits on and the colors and pattern are subtle yet strong to pull the room together. Super bonus that it is washable.
