I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top. The prettiest fan EVER...BUUUUT!!! It stop working in 7 months. The light won't go out. Called an Electrician and he said the unit had to be replaced. So he disconnected the light portion and we still have the fan. Called Wayfair to try and have it resolved. If you buy this Gan keep an eye on it and make sure you get the Warranty.... Crystal. Pretty light with a goldbrass finish. The light looks expensive, the glass features make it seem more luxurious. The fan is small and hidden, when it spins it becomes almost invisible. Installation was pretty simple per my husband. The fan doesn’t circulate the air too much. Not great for big rooms, you can feel it only if you stand directly under it. I’m using it in my office so I wasn’t looking for a big fan. The fixture is for 6 e12 bulbs, it does seem a bit much since this fan is for a smaller room. It does give off a lot of light!
