I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. This is a beautiful light that looks just as pictured. It comes with a remote control that controls both the ceiling light as well as the ceiling fan. Its important to know that there is a power button in the upper left hand corner of the remote that turns the unit on however to turn the light on and off the power button doesnt do that there is another button in the middle of the remote to turn the light on and off. Oh my what a challenge! There are really only pictures with arrows to provide direction. There was no parts list, however, I laid everything out and hoped! The only problem with the light is the crystal chandelier part was not level, it was twisted and did not notice this until ready to install. I managed to get it back to its correct shape but was concerned the welds would break, luckily it held. Anyway, it is quite beautiful and love it in my office. It casts a lot of light so we decided to use 40watt bulbs instead of 60watt. It really is so much prettier in person. Took less than 30 minutes to install. We received it within 3 days of ordering.
