There are 6 speeds to choose from, and you can choose the rotation direction as well. This fan operates quietly, and I love the detail on the fan blades. The blades look like palm leaves which is perfect for an outdoor setting. I can't wait to enjoy using this fan all summer on my patio, it will make the heat more bearable.
