Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. This fan is great. Looks great and nice quality. It is easy to install and has two extension rods. I used the longer one. It has plastic blades but the body is metal. It has a nice remote. This fan moves a good amount of air. The light is low profile and very bright. Take note, you might want to have two people for assembly. We didn't get it all the way installed yet but did get the fan put together and ready to go. We are installing in our basement home gym and it's not quite ready for the fan to be installed. We receive our 52” fan well packaged. It took a little longer for delivery because of some kind of mix up but after talking to customer service from Wayfair the problem was taken care immediately. You can’t beat Wayfairs customer service. We have not been able to install this fan yet, so I will update later. It appears to be very nice with a lot of nice features. I think it being a smart fan will make it convenient. Update. This fan would not work with two different down-rods we bought so we decided to hang it with the shorter one it came with. We think it will be ok and looks good. We finally got this fan up and we really like it . The aged pewter with the gray blades look beautiful. The light will go nice and bright or a low light. It has up to six speeds and is very quiet. It comes with a remote and we had no problem hooking it up to our phone and google assistant. So convenient using the google assistant with it. This is a very nice fan. It is a great color. Goes well with different styles. Most of my house is farmhouse and it looks like it belongs. It was easy to install mostly. This is a great, beautiful ceiling fan! I know it is still on the box, but my husband has had to have emergency surgery and he is unable to raise his arms above his head at this time.
