This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. This product came with everything it was supposed to and provided clear instructions. Each item was individually wrapped and came in perfect condition. No scratches or knick’s. The black finish is one of my favorite features. It has a very sleek, modern look and matches our bedroom perfectly, giving the space a clean and updated feel. Assembly took about an hour from start to finish, which felt very reasonable. Once the fan itself was assembled, the wiring portion was straightforward and essentially wire-to-wire, which made installation much easier than expected. The fan feels sturdy and well-made once installed, and everything lined up properly without forcing any pieces. I also really love that it comes with a remote. The remote adds a lot of convenience and works smoothly, making it easy to control the fan and light without getting up. This fan was simple to put together and looks fantastic once installed. One thing to note for those replacing old fans, is that this fan does not use the old gyro hinge and hanging socket. There was also no way to directly hardwire the fan, to a light switch, like our old fan. The fan's blade also appear to be pretty light, and at first a bit flimsy.
