I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top. I have several Minka Aire fans which perform wonderfully and has been a brand I trust. I ordered 2 of these fans for the patio. I did have some issue but Wayfair is doing what is needed to make it right. One of the fans was missing the arms that hold the blades. I also had issue with the light flickering. Because I was able to get fixed and really the fan itself is amazing. Ultra quiet. Bright light, slightly whiter than 3000k color temperature and brighter than a 60W LED replacement l light. It comes with a small rod (6") but comes with cables for 12, 24 and an additional 24 if needed. My only surprise was the blades are somewhat shiny that they reflect the green color of the lawn a tad. This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. The prettiest fan EVER...BUUUUT!!! It stop working in 7 months. The light won't go out. Called an Electrician and he said the unit had to be replaced. So he disconnected the light portion and we still have the fan. Called Wayfair to try and have it resolved. If you buy this Gan keep an eye on it and make sure you get the Warranty.... Crystal.
