Starting with the positives, I think the fan itself looks great and seems to operate fine. The main negative I had was the assembly. Im a DIY guy and Ive done just about every type of work under my roof. This was a small challenge to assemble because the instructions were not always clear and the many many parts are not labeled. I watched a video on a different fan installation just to confirm I was doing things correctly. Another negative is that the wall switch is a bit outdated looking. And someone please tell me why a wall switch that is hardwired with electricity also needs a battery inside of it Its not a backup because it doesnt work without it. Lastly, I think the site image is misleading because it shows a very long downrod. Great fan for a large room. I have it black side down for the blades. There is a faux wood side in a walnut color. I have a wall switch that turns it on and off. I may add a control for the fan. The prettiest fan EVER...BUUUUT!!! It stop working in 7 months. The light won't go out. Called an Electrician and he said the unit had to be replaced.
