First, this came well packaged, but kind of folded up, so you have to unpackage it and then stuff it with items to help get the shape that you see in the sales photo. it seems like a great quality and is really cute in person, but I am having trouble getting it to look as sturdy as it does in the sales picture. As you can see from my photographs, it is bent over a bit and appears a little wrinkly, but these photos were taken as soon as I had gotten it out of the box. This cotton rope basket is huge! It arrived later than originally promised, and so I was disappointed because it was a birthday gift. But now I get to keep it ha ha! The reason I took off one star was because of the folds. Of course, I just opened it yesterday, so the folds are fresh. Will wait to see whether it loosens up. However, there is a lot to like about this basket! Here are the highlights for me * this basket is very weighty! The cotton fibers are thick and sturdy. * it is well sewn. I don’t see it falling apart. As you can see in one of the photos, the stitching was well laid. * so much room! I did not expect this basket to be this large! I put in a lot of 20 inch pillows so that you could see the size. I’m sure I could fit a few blankets in there and some pillows also! I was very excited about the size! * The colors are very nice. The black and gray are well delineated against the white, which was what I was hoping for. these are a good size for storing books,large enough to hold a bunch of books but small enough they are still not to heavy when filled.Even though the boxes are clear, I use a Dymo labelmaker for the box. The labels stick to this plastic but can still be removed years later. If you want to remove the manufacturer's labels, do it when the boxes are new -they peel right off.
