Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent. After having the fan installed buy an electrician and downloading the app I am prompted to pay $4.99 weekly or $29.99 yearly to control the phone using the app. None of this is disclosed in the product description. There is a button in the app to "continue to limited version" which is supposedly free but there is no free version. It simply sends you in an endless loop where you are prompted to pay them to use the app. The manufacturer and product listing are dishonest and you're asking for trouble purchasing this fan. If you lose the remote or the remote brakes, you lose all ability to control the light or the fan. That was the entire purpose of purchasing a smart enabled fan so that if something happened to the remote it doesn't brick the device. This is outright fraud. Do not trust this listing.. Christian. I recently received this 52-inch farmhouse ceiling fan with light by August Grove and wanted to share my first impressions. Although I am still waiting for a handyman to install it, I am very pleased with the product so far. The fan arrived well-packaged and all parts were included and in excellent condition. The farmhouse-style design is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured online, making it a great fit for my home’s décor. The materials appear sturdy and well-made, and the finish has a high-quality look. I was especially happy to see that it includes a remote control and six speed settings, which should make it easy to adjust comfort levels throughout the year. These features were a big reason I chose this model over others. The instructions seem straightforward, and all of the components appear to be clearly labeled. While I cannot yet comment on installation, airflow, noise level, or lighting performance, my initial impression is very positive. Based on the quality of the materials, thoughtful features, and attractive design, I am excited to have it installed and put into use.
