Ok. This should be a 4-5 star fan. They misrepresent how it works in terms of mounting twice however and that’s a pretty big deal for those that aren’t very handy when deciding to purchase this fan. First part the holes for mounting the pole are not alternating in the manner described so it leaves you with a forced mounting approach for the hook mount. Not a terrible problem but they have it completely opposite in the instructions. Secondly, and the biggest issue is that there is No left to right pivot as described in the description. This means the way you mount the hook sets the fan direction. There is NO lateral adjustment. If this isn’t an issue then the fan rocks. It’s like they advertise their A grade model and deliver the B team model though so that is the reason for a 3 star deduction. Product is absolutely not as described in terms of adjustment. Very disappointing as we got this for a multi focus use on our patio. I shouldn’t have to go find a solution for an otherwise great fan that claims to be capable of something it’s not. Ashley. I’ve been really happy with this ceiling fan overall. The design is what first caught my attention. The solid wood blades look much more upscale than typical builder-grade fans and give the room a clean modern coastal feel. It works especially well in spaces with white or light natural finishes. The fan itself is very quiet, even on the higher speeds. The reversible motor is a nice feature and the airflow has been excellent for both cooling and circulating air. The remote is simple to use and having 6 speeds gives much better control than standard lowmediumhigh fans. I also liked the adjustable light temperatures since it makes it easy to switch between warmer lighting at night and brighter white light during the day. Installation was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could have been clearer in a few spots, especially around wiring and pairing the remote. Not difficult if you’ve installed fans before, but first-time installers may need a little patience. My only real complaint is that the integrated light could be a little brighter for larger rooms, but for bedrooms, covered patios, offices, or sitting areas it’s perfectly adequate. This gem is perfect for my bedroom. The real bonus is the quiet turning blades even at high speed which would be too much for this small space and would be just fine in a much larger room.
