We purchased this ceiling fan to replace a dated one that didn’t really go with our new bedroom set. The fan works very well and is virtually silent when running. The shape of these blades really moves the air well. The installation was a bit tricky as the directions aren’t very good so I would recommend hiring a licensed electrician if you are not skilled at diy electrical work. This fan is very pleasing to look at utilizing prime wood for the blades. It was not very difficult to install on our back porch the height and space we had was restricted so we had to modify the drop down tube by cutting it off and redrilling the bolt holes. The fan is nice looking. But the instructions call of wiring up a remote box and the unit runs via the remote only. Too complicated for me. And then Wayfair charged me $56 to return the 2 fans.
