The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing. Installation was horrible and components were cheap and not thought through. Loose pieces. I was going to leave a two star review because we worked so hard getting it up there, it wasn’t going to come back down and looked good enough. It was blowing amazing air when I laid down to enjoy, but I had to go back up to try and secure a decorative plate since it was noisy. When I got up there it was super hot all over. I will be taking the whole thing down and sending it back after all that. I am not happy. And now I have screw holes in my joists that are going to be stripped. This product is a fire hazard!.
