A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. I'm still waiting for my electrician to install these. I bought three of them to replace the ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms (other than the master). They were just what I was looking for...simple, modern design with a dimmable light. I'm sure the kids and our guests will appreciate them! Follow-up...fans are up and I have to say they don't look/feel very sturdy. The fan blades are a thin plastic. I was really unsure whether I even wanted to keep them after the first one was unboxed. But after my electrician put it up and we turned on the light and fan, my opinion changed. They can really move A LOT of air, like gale force winds (even pushed the door closed on the electrician as he was cranking it up!). And the dimmable light is great. Overall they look and perform better than they "feel". Only my electrician and I (and now you) know just how chintzy they are!!!! I got the Walnut blades with Black/Natural Fan Body finish. It's such a beautiful unique fan and blows air really well. Has the 3 advertised light modes, although the first two cooler options are pretty similar, and the 'warmest' isn't that warm (my pic shows the warmest option). I had an electrician install it, so I can't speak to the ease of install. My biggest gripe right now is it's a bit wobbly and loud once you get to levels 4-6, but the manual does come with some tips to balance it out, which I'll need to try soon.. Erica. Atlanta, GA.
