Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. This product came with everything it was supposed to and provided clear instructions. Each item was individually wrapped and came in perfect condition. No scratches or knick’s. The black finish is one of my favorite features. It has a very sleek, modern look and matches our bedroom perfectly, giving the space a clean and updated feel. Assembly took about an hour from start to finish, which felt very reasonable. Once the fan itself was assembled, the wiring portion was straightforward and essentially wire-to-wire, which made installation much easier than expected. The fan feels sturdy and well-made once installed, and everything lined up properly without forcing any pieces. I also really love that it comes with a remote. The remote adds a lot of convenience and works smoothly, making it easy to control the fan and light without getting up. This is really a great fan...the blades are plastic which I realized was a good thing because as we took down old one blades{wood} they had warped...wont happen now...puts out a really nice breeze on low...high is fantastic...A few challenges to putting it together but all in all it went well...I recommend this to all!!!. This fan is so adorable yet does a fantastic job moving air around. We installed this within 20mins. There was a bit of mixup when screwing in the fan blades but realized it when we turned it on. No worries, it was simple and easy to install. Instructions were simple and manageable. Easy to follow. The look of the fan is also very nice. The color is just as the website page.
