In cloudy weather or winter, charging time may be longer and working time may be shorter, which is normal for solar lamps and should not be considered as quality problem. 3. If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force. Try to soften the ground with water and then insert into the ground. 4. Be sure to turn on the switch and install it in a locatioon where the sun can shine directly on the solar panel.

Wow, the amount of light these solar lights produce is incredible! This is a versatile set of large solar lamps. You can add or take out a pole piece to make them stand taller or shorter. Thats exactly what I did on my patio, one is very tall, and two are shorter to fit in my flowers in my planters. These are much brighter than any solar lamps I have ever had. From the photos, it looked like these came with a standing base. These must be placed in soil or sand (possibly rocks) using the bottom stake, or they won't stand up on their own. These are large, classy, and put out so much light! I really like that the light is bright white, rather than a warmer color. These were perfect! I actually drilled holes in the wood on top of my pool fence and set them through the holes about 6 feet apart and on either side of the gateway ,instead of putting them in the ground, and it looks really cool at night.
