Pretty cool lights. If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force. Try to soften the ground with water and then insert into the ground. 4. I really like these. After reading other reviews, I knew it was of paramount importance that these are mounted where they will get the most sun. I ended up installing them higher so they would get more sunlight during the day. I think that was a good choice, as all of them come on at night. They add just enough light wash to the fence to make it bright. The difference is surprisingly dramatic -- the backyard is dark and sad without these. My only hope is that these last a long time because you have to screw them into the fence -- I don't want to put holes in my fence for something that won't last. But it's still too early to know. I just got these solar lights and installed them a couple days ago. So far, I'm loving them! They are very sturdy and being made out of metal, they should last longer.
