This is a lovely ceiling fan w lights and remote. I bought during Way Day and got a fair price. It had no reviews at the time however it is exactly what I was looking for and fits my style (my previous fan was very outdated and not my style). I had a professional electrician install the fan, but it came with strings (28 in total) of beads to attach. It was extremely tedious and several would come undone and it was VERY difficult to string the beads back on. Luckily it came with two extra strings but I had problems with a third one! The light fixture has been good overall. I put it in my daughter’s room. Not sure if it’s just my electrical situation or what but for some reason there’s like a solid 2 second delay between turning on the switch and when the light actually turns on. If I were to just keep the switch in the on position and only use the remote, this does not happen but it’s easier for my daughter to just use the switch. Also when you use the switch it reverts back to the medium color tone option so if you like it on the cool or warm setting you’ll have to either change it back each time or only use the remote to turn it on and off. It doesn’t put off the most light in the world… I should have added some can lights to the room when we were building but it’s enough light to be okay with it. If you are looking for lots of light tho this may not be for you. *update after 1 year and 4 months the light went out. The fan still works but not the light. This fan moves a good amount of air. The light is low profile and very bright. Take note, you might want to have two people for assembly. This was exactly what we needed for a family cabin room! It goes great with the older cabin decor, adds a great bit of airflow, and offers quite a lot of light. I love that it works well on a dimmer, too, and that the remote is easy to work. Do you note that I could not figure out if there was or was not a dimming option for the lights on the remote (do not believe there is), but because we have that switch on a dimmer, we can dim the bulbs. That is important to me because the LED bulbs would be too bright if not dimmable. The fan is wonderful and works incredibly well, with many options for various speeds and a button to push if you want the fan to be completely quiet. The fan works in both directions to push air or pull air upward. The lights and fan work independently, so you are not required to have both on to use one or the other. The wood material is nice and looks great. I love the slats in the shade that offer some visual interest. Note that the fan material is plastic rather than wood, but it looks realistic.
