Love the real wood fan blades, sleek design and light weight that I installed fairly easily, by myself. I have installed fans before and this one is slightly more complicated due to the remote receiver positioning and extra wiring to tuck into canopy. It is a very quiet fan, and I disagree with a review I read before purchasing that said it was noisy. I did not have to balance the fan but a balance kit is included. This is a lovely ceiling fan w lights and remote. I bought during Way Day and got a fair price. It had no reviews at the time however it is exactly what I was looking for and fits my style (my previous fan was very outdated and not my style). I had a professional electrician install the fan, but it came with strings (28 in total) of beads to attach. It was extremely tedious and several would come undone and it was VERY difficult to string the beads back on. Luckily it came with two extra strings but I had problems with a third one! This is a beautiful ceiling fan that runs extremely quiet with five different speeds ( even on turbo). The light has different settings for brightness which is really nice. I tried to show that in the first and last pictures. If you look at the blades you will see the quality of wood the blades have which I think are fabulous even though they call this farmhouse I really think it is more modern completely.
