This is a lovely ceiling fan w lights and remote. I bought during Way Day and got a fair price. It had no reviews at the time however it is exactly what I was looking for and fits my style (my previous fan was very outdated and not my style). I had a professional electrician install the fan, but it came with strings (28 in total) of beads to attach. It was extremely tedious and several would come undone and it was VERY difficult to string the beads back on. Luckily it came with two extra strings but I had problems with a third one! What a WONDERFUL chandelier/fan and what a cool concept! So glad I stumbled across this beautiful solution for my daughter's room! It's beautiful and sophisticated. But also extremely functional (even with the smaller fan)! First of all, this is super easy to install... it's literally just connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires to the house wires and that's it! IMPORTANT NOTE: the instructions say to attach a receiver part (which you will think isn't in the box -- because it's not)... but you do NOT need that part, and can literally just skip that part of the instructions. Believe me, I thought it was missing too, told wayfair, they sent a replacement, then the new box was missing it too, so I tried installing it without it, and it worked! Anyways, the gold color is PERFECT for my daughter's Monet-inspired room. The "cracked ice" shades are beautiful. The crystal clear fan is PERFECT both aesthetically (to not broadcast there's a fan in this chandelier) but also it works great and has 6 speeds! I also love that in winter you can reverse the fan direction and pull the heat upwards to circulate it -- brilliant! P.S. the fan is ridiculously QUIET which is so awesome! The light fixture has been good overall. I put it in my daughter’s room. Not sure if it’s just my electrical situation or what but for some reason there’s like a solid 2 second delay between turning on the switch and when the light actually turns on. If I were to just keep the switch in the on position and only use the remote, this does not happen but it’s easier for my daughter to just use the switch. Also when you use the switch it reverts back to the medium color tone option so if you like it on the cool or warm setting you’ll have to either change it back each time or only use the remote to turn it on and off. It doesn’t put off the most light in the world… I should have added some can lights to the room when we were building but it’s enough light to be okay with it. If you are looking for lots of light tho this may not be for you. *update after 1 year and 4 months the light went out. The fan still works but not the light. This fan is great. Looks great and nice quality. It is easy to install and has two extension rods. I used the longer one. It has plastic blades but the body is metal. It has a nice remote.
