This seems like good fan, packed well all parts included, it can be all black or the blades also have wood tone on one side, we chose the wood and it has an LED light. Love the real wood fan blades, sleek design and light weight that I installed fairly easily, by myself. I have installed fans before and this one is slightly more complicated due to the remote receiver positioning and extra wiring to tuck into canopy. It is a very quiet fan, and I disagree with a review I read before purchasing that said it was noisy. I did not have to balance the fan but a balance kit is included. This was exactly what we needed for a family cabin room! It goes great with the older cabin decor, adds a great bit of airflow, and offers quite a lot of light. I love that it works well on a dimmer, too, and that the remote is easy to work. Do you note that I could not figure out if there was or was not a dimming option for the lights on the remote (do not believe there is), but because we have that switch on a dimmer, we can dim the bulbs. That is important to me because the LED bulbs would be too bright if not dimmable. The fan is wonderful and works incredibly well, with many options for various speeds and a button to push if you want the fan to be completely quiet. The fan works in both directions to push air or pull air upward. The lights and fan work independently, so you are not required to have both on to use one or the other. The wood material is nice and looks great. I love the slats in the shade that offer some visual interest. Note that the fan material is plastic rather than wood, but it looks realistic. What a WONDERFUL chandelier/fan and what a cool concept! So glad I stumbled across this beautiful solution for my daughter's room! It's beautiful and sophisticated. But also extremely functional (even with the smaller fan)! First of all, this is super easy to install... it's literally just connecting the live, neutral, and ground wires to the house wires and that's it! IMPORTANT NOTE: the instructions say to attach a receiver part (which you will think isn't in the box -- because it's not)... but you do NOT need that part, and can literally just skip that part of the instructions. Believe me, I thought it was missing too, told wayfair, they sent a replacement, then the new box was missing it too, so I tried installing it without it, and it worked! Anyways, the gold color is PERFECT for my daughter's Monet-inspired room. The "cracked ice" shades are beautiful. The crystal clear fan is PERFECT both aesthetically (to not broadcast there's a fan in this chandelier) but also it works great and has 6 speeds! I also love that in winter you can reverse the fan direction and pull the heat upwards to circulate it -- brilliant! P.S. the fan is ridiculously QUIET which is so awesome!
