I needed a fan for my loft that would help circulate the air for efficiency in heating and cooling. But, I don't really like the look of most ceiling fans and didn't need to have lights in it. So, I ordered this with reservations because it is so expensive. However, it really looks nice, is well balanced so it doesn't wobble one bit, and it is absolutely silent when it's on. My electrician said it's very good quality, was straight forward to install, and has a good motor. There is a remote control I can use to regulate speed and direction, which comes with a holder that can be installed on the wall next to the switch so it is less likely to get lost. This item is perfect for under our new roof. We ordered two of them for each end. Everything came in perfect condition. I spent a lot of time reading the directions before assembly, and it allowed me to assemble the product with ease. The wiring was a cinch, and it is quite secure on our roof. It didn't take long to assemble and install the second one. The lights and fans work excellently, and the remotes are very handy as well. It's quiet and complements our design.
