Love the real wood fan blades, sleek design and light weight that I installed fairly easily, by myself. I have installed fans before and this one is slightly more complicated due to the remote receiver positioning and extra wiring to tuck into canopy. It is a very quiet fan, and I disagree with a review I read before purchasing that said it was noisy. I did not have to balance the fan but a balance kit is included. I bought two of these fans and looking forward to getting the second one installed with a little help, since the ceiling is higher in that room. I highly recommend this fan!. Krista M.. Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on.
