Starting with the positives, I think the fan itself looks great and seems to operate fine. The main negative I had was the assembly. Im a DIY guy and Ive done just about every type of work under my roof. This was a small challenge to assemble because the instructions were not always clear and the many many parts are not labeled. I watched a video on a different fan installation just to confirm I was doing things correctly. Another negative is that the wall switch is a bit outdated looking. And someone please tell me why a wall switch that is hardwired with electricity also needs a battery inside of it Its not a backup because it doesnt work without it. Lastly, I think the site image is misleading because it shows a very long downrod. The fan arrived well packaged. The instructions were not great and took some time to figure out the wire diagram. It is a great fan. This glass caged ceiling fan is GORGEOUS! You can’t even tell it’s a fan because the glass covers it and it just looks like a high class chandelier.
