This is a beautiful ceiling fan for my living room! I decided to change out the fan from a white one to black. It is very attractive and has great fan speeds. The LED light is integrated and gives off a warm glow. If you are looking for something brighter, you might want a different light that gives off more than 3000k, but for us I'm sure it will work. Awesome upgrade!! It took a few days to arrive & when I received it I initially was worried about the hue of the gold tone...but once it was up I am so happy for the purchase. The installation seemed pretty straightforward out of the box....my handyman put it up fairly quick. Only critique was the battery that came with the remote was dead....so he fumbled with the fan/remote for an extra 10 min thinking something went wrong with the install...only for us to figure out that it was only the battery that was the culprit.
