Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. The Ruby bed frame brings a single, well-chosen detail to the centre of the bedroom: a headboard handwoven in natural rattan, its organic texture and warmth setting the tone for the room around it. Each rattan panel carries its own subtle variation in tone and weave, the kind of character that only natural material handled by hand can offer. Beneath it, the frame is built from solid wood for steady, dependable support, with an integrated slat base that holds the mattress directly and removes the need for a box spring. The silhouette stays low, clean and modern, and the silent slat system keeps the whole frame quiet through the night. For the price, the quality is REALLY good. I absolutely LOVE the look of this bed. The headboard is so beautiful. It was pretty straightforward and easy to assemble and I appreciated all the extra parts provided. This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee. This bed is gorgeous! It wasn’t easy to put together, but all the parts were there and nothing was broken. It took 2 of us almost 6 hours. We are pretty experienced in putting things together and used an electric screwdriver. The LED lights are pretty cheesy, but I didn’t buy the bed for them! Over all, very pleased!. Brenda Dady. I got this for my niece who is taking her sweet time cleaning her room and getting rid of her old bed. I assembled it into 4 pieces to carry upstairs once she has the space for it. It is beautiful! Better than expected! The quality is super nice. The wood color is pretty. It looks even better in person. It looks like it will last a while. So far assembly has been a breeze. Very happy with this one.. Jenny. Gilbert, AZ. Wed Apr 22 2026
