Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. The bed is nice- as depicted online, and assembled easily with two people. It is helpful to have a screwdriver on a drill because there are a lot of screws. Overall the bed is exactly as advertised. What I received was exactly what was pictured. Putting it together was a pain though. I’m used to putting things together but this bed arrived in smaller pieces than I expected and the whole thing required a tiny allen wrench. This bed was probably one of the easiest bed to build that I let my 4 yr old help with. It says you need two people, but really can be built alone. Put this bed together myself in maybe less than 20 min? The padding around the metal frame is a nice way to avoid stubbed toes. Definitely cant be used to step on since it will sink down, but not bad for small children since the bed is still close to the ground. The corduroy is super soft. The headboard did come with a small gray stain but didn't care for it since it's in a spot that can't be seen after install. Only reason for 4 star is because I thought the headboard would have a sturdy backing, turns out you'd have to basically paste and Velcro it on the wall it'll be against. I'm the type of person that constantly likes to rearrange furniture so I didn't do that since it would make it such a hassle to move it around if I wanted the bed against a different wall. It's not too bad though since it will still stay up as long as it's against the bed and wall. Overall though it's a wonderful bed frame and my daughter liked it a lot. It arrived in 2 weeks after purchase. Well packed and efficiently delivered. No damages. I took off a star because of a few issues 1) the assembly instructions are inconsistent. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided. ***EDIT: Wayfair doesn't retain my original paragraph spacing so this may be a bit hard to read!*** Very close to be a very good bed frame. ************** Pros: ************** -------------- 1. The white linen seems to be of decent quality and is a good color. -------------- 2. Build quality seems to be well made. -------------- 3. Slats are covered with some felt like material. -------------- 4. Assembly steps aren't overly complicated. -------------- 5. Good height for me and has space for a 7" tall storage container underneath. ************** Cons: ************** -------------- 1. All the washers and metal plates were corroded, however, the bolts themselves seem ok. I made a trip to the hardware store to get replacement washers. I also cleaned up the metal plates with isopropyl alcohol as much as I could just so that not too much of the corrosion gets on the mattress and sheets. I kept wiping with isopropyl alcohol-soaked towels until I no longer saw any corrosion residue coming off. -------------- 2. The screws inside the rounded corners by the head board were difficult to screw in due to the tight curved space. I had to go dig out a very short screw driver from my tool box. I guess I should have expected this due to the curved design, but I thought I should point that out. -------------- 3. One corner of the foot board was a struggle to attach to the side board due to some sort of misalignment, either the brackets are offset too far or the pre-drilled hole is too far. It took a lot of muscle to force the two pieces to line up just enough to force the screw in. It does appear to have a larger gap between the two boards at this corner than the other corner that had no issues, but it's not too bad once assembled. -------------- 4. One corner of the foot board had about a 2 x 3-inch area that didn't get enough batting/filling so it looks slightly flatter than the rest of the bed frame, but again, not a huge deal, since it will mostly be covered up by bed sheets. -------------- 6. The linen covering the curved portion on the head board appears to be under stretched tension, but not sure if it is really avoidable due to the design. At least it's no too visible from a distance. -------------- 7. The foot board doesn't have good support for the mattress so I sink in a little bit more sitting there compared to sitting at the left or right side, but not a huge deal. -------------- 8. There were 4 small spots that had either some dirt or corrosion residue on them, but they wiped away cleanly, just something to look out for when buying white linen furniture. ************** Despite all the cons I listed, I still like this bed frame, I just wished there wasn't so much corrosion on the metal hardware, which made me feel like I shouldn't have paid full price for it..
