Open-Frame Beds

This platform bed updates your home with a vintage-inspired look that blends seamlessly into any traditional or farmhouse setup. Constructed from steel, it features a slatted headboard and footboard that introduce an airy, open profile to your arrangement. Center support legs work alongside the perimeter frame to deliver a stable sleeping foundation that handles everyday use smoothly. Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. Plus, it features an adjustable headboard height so you can easily customize the clearance to suit your specific mattress thickness.

The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Thu May 14 2026

This platform bed frame delivers a minimalist look in your space with its clean-lined silhouette and integrated headboard. It’s crafted with a metal frame, providing a stable foundation for your mattress without needing a box spring. So far loving this bed frame! It’s very easy to put together. You only need the Allen key wrench that’s included. We wanted a higher bed to be able to have space for under bed storage in our small apartment. Our mattress is a 10” so it does cover the head board a little than I wanted but overall still happy! It’s sturdy and the height gives ample storage room.. Sarah. Nyc. Wed Oct 07 2026

Not bad, pretty color but its slightly bigger than the mattress by a couple inches so idk if thats error from the mattress or from the frame, . Honestly easy to build and good quality wood. Anonymous. Sat Sep 12 2026

This lift-up storage bed brings streamlined design and convenient functionality to your space. Built with an engineered wood frame, it maximizes floor area by providing built-in hidden storage directly beneath the mattress platform. A smooth mechanism lifts the base effortlessly to keep extra linens, clothes, or spare bedding organized and out of sight. The clean platform silhouette eliminates the need for a box spring, allowing for a simplified, low-profile setup. Plus, the open headboard-free structure frees up wall space for easy customization.

This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. I used a soft upholstry fabric and also laid batting on the broad surfaces. The mechanism works great and does not shut unless you pull it down. It's in my daughters room so it takes a beating and is holding up.. Holly. Ferrisburgh, VT. Thu Apr 16 2026

Crafted from natural rubber wood and durable plywood slats, With reliable slats, Whether embracing a minimalist aesthetic or indulging in bohemian fantasies, this bed will elevate the look of your space, ideal for adding personality to your bedroom.

Good materials and overall sturdy but it’s not easy to put together. You pretty much NEED a drill and two people. The center supporting legs do not all reach the floor so sitting down on it can cause noise. The frame is also bigger than a queen size mattress so there will definitely be a gap on one end.. Our beautiful cats taught me that upholstered headboards are just a canvas for their kitty claws to destroy. As such, I had to find a replacement that the smallest members of our family won't take as an open challenge. I've always loved metal bedframes for their simplicity and timelessness. This bedframe provided the perfect economical solution to our in house designer (destructor) problem. Bonus: it looks far more expensive than it is.
