Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. We just put the cardboard the frame came in on top of the frame and it worked great. The frame is very sturdy and i needed that support being over 200 lbs. This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. So the piece arrived in a pretty beat up box. Most of the pieces are still in great shape (I’ve noticed one small scratch), but it’s missing all of the hardware. So either the hardware fell out in transport or they never sent it. I haven’t been able to put the bed together. That said pieces look good and the instructions seem decent. I’m hoping to get new parts from the company because I think it could be a nice piece of furniture but for now I don’t recommend this item. I think I could go buy the items from the hardware store but that seems more expensive and not super easy. Update I received the hardware in the mail after talking to Wayfair. The bed took an hour to assemble with two people. It’s pretty sturdy. If I’m being nitpicky about it I wish the pattern on the headboard lined up perfectly but overall I’m happy. This bed works perfect for my son. I will say that it was quite difficult to put together though. Many of the screws did not line up great, making it a frustrating build.
