Took a little while for my husband and brother to assemble, but the results were amazing. This bed was purchased when we set up a green guest bedroom after our youngest daughter moved out post-college. Later, we gave the bed to our eldest daughter to refresh her teal bedroom in her little house ("casita") in southern Texas. She paired the bed with Boho Bouquet bedding -- also a gift from us, purchased on the Wayfair website.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. Mon Aug 03 2026

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Fri Sep 11 2026

This bed is very solid and sturdy! The assembly was easy but time consuming as I put it together myself. It took a few hours. Some touch up paint should solve the problem. This bed is beautiful and I’m very happy with it!. Lorraine. Maine. Mon Sep 28 2026

This actually feels very sturdy and was easy to put together. My 12 yo daughter helped me carry it up the stairs and put it together. It was her first time touching a screw driver and a good breeze could knock her over. So it really wasn’t difficult at all. Ok Wayfair… you got this one. I’m in love. This bed is so cute! It’s super super sturdy, that was the main thing for me. 1010 for this bed! Set up was not bad actually. It’s legit wood. Two person set up recommended but one person could def get this done. The color was exactly as stated. It’s perfect. Thank youuuu WF!. Jen. Florida. Mon Aug 31 2026
