This bed frame is good, but not great. Putting it together was pretty easy (me and my dad, but I've built a similar one solo before). It's sturdy. My only complaints are the quality and the color. The quality of the materials is "meh". Definitely passable, I won't be returning it, but not as nice as my last bed frame (which was a similar price point). The slats are thinner and further apart. Also, there's a bit of a gap between the plush pieces along the side. Lastly, the color isn't as vibrant as it seems in some of the pictures. I am ultimately happy with it and it does what I need. There is a lengthy construction process with 44 steps and a tone of screws; i definitely benefited from gentle use of a power drill for some steps while others needed to be done by hand. there is one type of diagram - that shows how to install the sliding tracks that is initially very hard to interpret. but taking my time and having a second pair of hands for the first half of construction made it work and its more or less exactly what I wanted for the space. eventually when I habe a bigger budget I would prefer hardwood but this is a reasonable solution for a small space.
