This is a lovely bed, handsome in design. But the blue is much darker than the web photo and when constructed it does not look exactly as shown. In the web photo the headboard and side panels join seamlessly. In real life the headboard is about 5 inches above the bed frame even though we lowered it as much as possible. I absolutely love this bed. We spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect upholstered sleigh bed and this is it. We are able to use our standard box spring and mattress which is nice because I didn’t want to be too low to the floor. The bed was easy to assemble. I love the color, nail head trim and and linen material. Only feedback is that it is a little too wide so you can see the bed slats slightly. I would definitely recommend this bed!. Amy. We were very disappointed in the quality of the platform bed. The specs said “solid wood”. It is pressed board with veneers over top. The Frame was very difficult to put together, pre drilled holes were extremely tight and hard to fit to adjoining pieces.
