This murphy bed is working well in an extra bedroom. It looks nice and offers storage in the bottom drawer giving us a nice place to store the sheets and pillows for the bed when not in use. I'm very happy with this bed. It slides away and unfolds very easily. It took a long time to put together, but the instructions were very clear and every piece lined up perfectly. It looks great in my room. I also bought a 6" folding mattress to go in it. I haven't tried to put it away in the cabinet yet, but when I measure, there appears to be plenty of room for it.. Linda. Trash! I bought a 4" tri-fold mattress like the specifications say and it doesn't even fold up with the mattress like it's supposed to. My guest, who was going to use it, sat down and the wood pieces broke and my guest fell through! My guest doesn't even weigh 200 lbs and this is supposed to hold 400 lbs. This Murphy bed is absolutely beautiful! It’s also very heavy duty. I had someone put it together and she did it in about 3 hours so not bad at all. The leather handles don’t serve any purpose when it comes to pulling the bed out or putting it away. The leather part for the straps isn’t even attached and comes straight out when you try to grab the straps. Not a deal breaker though. The only other thing I’ve had an issue with is the latches that hook everything together. I really like the Murphy bed it was delivered on time and was in almost perfect condition. The item had one minor scratch, and it was easy to paint over. The bed was not easy to assemble, but I had help. It looks nice and is easy to lift updown. We bought two of these for our guestgame room. There are a lot of steps to put them together but its actually quite easy. I suggest having a second person as some of the pieces are long, its just easy to line up with the other person. The wheels worked better on carpet than I thought they would. Takes forever to build but once it’s built it looks great, works well and is easy to pull the bed out and put back in. We got a trifold mattress to go with it and it folds up into the cabinet also. The drawers are slightly small and will probably only fit two pillows nothing else will fit inside the cabinet beside the mattress when it’s folded up so we will have to store some additional pillows some place else.
