This bed is a great piece of furniture. I love that it is solid wood. It matches my current bedroom furniture perfectly. While the instructions seemed simple enough to assemble, a couple of pieces did not fit together well and I had to order replacement parts. Once I received those it was fairly simple to assemble but I would suggest having a rubber mallet as some of the parts fit very tightly together.
