This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. This bed is a very nice quality and seems sturdy. The headboard is not as high as I envisioned but still works for one of my guest rooms. I ordered the beige, and the material has a linen feel to it. It has a beige tweed pattern that appears as beige and dark brown. It came with one pull in the material, but it isn’t in a conspicuous spot. There is a metal bar that runs down the center with two legs that keep it sturdy. The slats are wood and adhere to Velcro strips that are along the side rails. It is very low to the ground, so keep that in mind. It will be perfect for my young grandchildren to get in and out of. It took us about two hours to put together; the hardest part was attaching the side wings to the headboard. All hardware was present and neatly organized.
