Only 4 stars because it was a great value, otherwise it’d be 3. I am a fairly talented handyman and it took me 12 hours to assemble which I knew it would be long but not quite that much. The panels that make the front are ok but not great; definitely not a fine piece of furniture but decent for the price. This is stellar! My husband and I took our time putting this together, we wanted to make sure it turned out really well. We split it up into 2 days, also if you have two drills, itll probably be quicker lol. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I purchased the Murphy Cabinet Bed with Pullout Drawer and Mattress for my guest room/office, and overall, I'm very pleased with it. It’s a great space-saving solution that also looks attractive and blends nicely into the room. Assembly took about 6 hours with one person, even though the instructions recommend two people. That said, the directions were straightforward and easy to follow. Most of the pre-drilled holes were properly aligned, which made the process smoother than expected. There was some minor cosmetic damage on one panel and a small gap between panels, as shown in the photos, but both are in areas that aren’t very visible, so it’s not a major concern. While I haven’t fully tested the mattress yet, it seems like it will hold up well for occasional guest use. This murphy bed desk works well for what I need. The desk is a little bit shallow, but fine for a laptop. It wouldn't be ideal if its your primary desk. The bed is pretty comfortable for only 6" and works great as a guest bed. It is easy to convert between the desk and the bed and was way easier to assemble/install than a traditional murphy bed and much less expensive. It did come with a crack in the desk piece and a marred corner, but it wasn't worth the hassle of returning, so for the price I'm just living with the imperfections.. Amanda. Huntsville, AL. This unit was exactly what I needed for the space. I was worried that the wood color would be too yellow, but its not, its a neutral beige and doesnt clash with the flooring. We bought two of these for our guestgame room. There are a lot of steps to put them together but its actually quite easy. I suggest having a second person as some of the pieces are long, its just easy to line up with the other person. The wheels worked better on carpet than I thought they would.
