Nice, interesting color that adds some life to an otherwise plain white room. The headboard arrived with a small cut about half an inch long. It’s minor, but unfortunately, I notice it every time I look at it. Overall, the bed was fairly easy to assemble, provides great storage, and keeps pets from hiding underneath. We were moving, so although this bed came with white glove delivery, we were unable to have them set it up before as it needed to be moved to a new house. Because of that we had to build it ourselves. Unfortunately, a couple pieces of the hardware were not delivered with the bed, including 24 feet of the bed, but it was an easy enough fix to go get them from a hardware store. The wingback headboard is stunning in person. It photographs beautifully, but what surprised me is how substantial it feels — we're talking a full 51-inch-high headboard with real foam padding. Guests can actually sit up comfortably in bed, which matters. The chenille upholstery has the most beautiful texture — soft, cozy, and that warm beige tone works with just about everything. I styled it with neutral linen bedding and some earthy tones, and it looks like something out of a boutique hotel. Assembly was straightforward, and I love that no box spring is needed — one less thing to deal with. The slats lock in place and we haven't had any squeaking or shifting at all. Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit. Since the frame is sturdy for, um, adult time, I'm glad we decided to save the money versus the much more expensive other stores! It took me around 2hrs to build on my own - the instructions are very easy to follow, just lots of small tasks that need doing before you can really pull it all together.
