This review is just for aesthetics as I can’t speak to longevity. I think the lamp looks exactly as pictured. The wood-look metal and shade can fit a few different types of styles. My home has more of a bohemian mid century decor, and this fits fine. My only complaints are that the shade has a strange smell and because it’s so dark, this lamp doesn’t omit a ton of light. You get a lot of light from the top of the shade, but you don’t get a ton of light from the bottom. I like how when it’s lit, you don’t get light peaking through the weaving of the rattan. I use a smart bulb and adjust the lighting and still find it to be a little dark, so if you are trying to get more light in your room, you may want to find a lamp with a white shade or a cone shape to cast the light downward.. I was happily surprised to find that it actually included the bulbs right in the box, which is a nice touch that saves you a trip to the store. However, the Edison bulbs that come with it give off a very deep orange hue. While it creates a mood, it's a bit too amber for regular lighting. I think this lamp will be absolutely perfect once I swap them out for bulbs with a slightly cooler or more natural warm-white temperature. The shade is cheap and cheesy looking. Tray is heavy enough but the thickness looks underwhelming. My guess is that it may be a balance thing? If the weight of the tray could be maintained and still be heavy enough and balanced but thicker then would look better. This is a very nice floor lamp. It came in several pieces and the instructions didn’t help much because the pieces were not numbered so you have to look at the picture in order to assemble it and after that it was pretty easy.
