Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. Stained glass is handcrafted using the same technique that was developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Glass types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real glass is hand-cut and copper foil is wrapped around each individual piece. The glass pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. An Adesso patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent or led bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. Note: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150w or dimmable LED bulbs (do not use: 3-Way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using led bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (the high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable lead will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.
