Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. This is such a cute lamp! It was very easy to put together (less than 5 minutes). The brass is a nice metal material that is the perfect color. The rattan lamp shade feels sturdy and should hold up very well. I like that it turns on and off with a foot press, rather than up inside the lampshade.
