Metal pole and resin base with a painted finish. Each piece of glass is hand-soldered into place using the traditional copper foil technique.

The lamp is pretty overall, but the pigments stained glass is a far cry from the lamps you would find made 20-30 years ago. The pigments and coloring is very opaque, and the appearance is comparatively dull and non-uniform to that of a more traditional fixture.
