The lamp is beautiful and works well in my office. The lamp shade is easy to assemble and filters the light while also providing sufficient illumination. One section of the body of the lamp didn’t align precisely however, with the natural appearance of the stand, it’s not very obvious. I did need some help attaching the base so that the lamp didn’t tilt. My dad had to hold the base for me so I could align the threads of the base and the body correctly. Low profile, and perfect of the space I need! This lamp will do the trick for a corner area behind my husband's desk. Easy to assemble, though the lamp shade was a little tricky to clip together. It has quite a seam, but since it's going in the corner it's not noticeable. Sturdy base, sturdy frame. I absolutely love this lamp. I just wish it was a little bit taller. The light that it gives off is absolutely beautiful and you can choose to have both of the lights on at the same time or they could be on at different times. I love the styling of this lamp, and so I gave it five stars. But there were a couple of issues I found there was a dent on the base as though somebody had dropped something pointed on it, and the wood had some imperfections. I know full well that I could’ve sent it back and Wayfair would have replaced the lamp they are very good about that sort of thing. But the issues weren’t so bad that I decided not to keep the lamp. I really like this floor lamp and it was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were not very detailed so I had to wing it on some of the steps.
