Decent lamp for the price point (bought on sale). The height works for our tall ceilings and I like that the arch isn’t super wide like many similar styles. But I take off a point for the color. Online it looks like a true, light gold. In person it’s a lot more brassy and the color makes it look a bit cheaper than it would otherwise. Overall it works for now and would’ve been a 5 if the color was true gold. A simple, classic style, the Glenn 300 Watt Floor Lamp is easily placed into a variety of décor and spaces. A matte black finished pole extends into a frosted plastic bowl shade that reveals a beautiful glow when lit. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provide approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the shade cup to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulbs are not included. NOTE: Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFLs). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (a high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low-setting flicker, but may still occur.
