I purchased an open-box unit and it looks great. The base is very heavy and provides solid support for the arc lamp. At first, I thought I had tightened the Allen screws that secure the extending pole, but I hadn’t, and it slipped. Once I fixed that, everything held firmly. I assembled it on the second floor and then moved it to a third-floor bedroom. There was quite a bit of shaking due to the arc shape, but it maintained its structure without any issues.
