Wonderful design - I love the shelves, and the shade gives lots of nice quality light. Assembly is very straightforward - the instructions explain things well, and there’s really no way to mess it up. However, the way some of the pieces fit together is just a bit off. I ordered two of these lamps, and on one the lampshade doesn’t sit straight no matter which way I turn it around and try to make it sit straight (see the close-up photo). On the other lamp, the lampshade sits perfectly (see the full-length photo) but some of the long pieces that connect between the shelves jut out a teensy bit further than they should (probably can’t tell in the photo, you have to look close to notice). This is such a pretty and well made lamp. It came boxed up really well, and it is nice and heavy and sturdy. The quality is much better than I even expected. The clear glass is actually glass and not plexiglass and the shade is also really nice quality. It accommodates up to 150 watts (3 way bulb) so it would be great for mood lighting in a living room, which is where I will be using it. I am happy with this lamp and think it is well made.
