Wonderful design - I love the shelves, and the shade gives lots of nice quality light. Assembly is very straightforward - the instructions explain things well, and there’s really no way to mess it up. However, the way some of the pieces fit together is just a bit off. I ordered two of these lamps, and on one the lampshade doesn’t sit straight no matter which way I turn it around and try to make it sit straight (see the close-up photo). On the other lamp, the lampshade sits perfectly (see the full-length photo) but some of the long pieces that connect between the shelves jut out a teensy bit further than they should (probably can’t tell in the photo, you have to look close to notice). Decent lamp for the price point (bought on sale). The height works for our tall ceilings and I like that the arch isn’t super wide like many similar styles. But I take off a point for the color. Online it looks like a true, light gold. In person it’s a lot more brassy and the color makes it look a bit cheaper than it would otherwise. This is such a pretty and well made lamp. It came boxed up really well, and it is nice and heavy and sturdy. The quality is much better than I even expected. The clear glass is actually glass and not plexiglass and the shade is also really nice quality. It accommodates up to 150 watts (3 way bulb) so it would be great for mood lighting in a living room, which is where I will be using it. I am happy with this lamp and think it is well made. It would be the best choice for you to decorate the bedroom and living room by putting our modern standing lamp with 4 shelves and drawer, also you could use the column lamp as a replacement for a bedside table lamp, cause this lamp even with shelves for storage.
