Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. Exactly what we wanted! We needed a classic lamp able to fit in our mudroom. We didn’t want a big shade because we will be hanging bags and jackets on the wall. I didn’t even need to use the instructions and it also came with a lightbulb which I was surprised. It gives off the perfect glow to avoid using the overhead lights. The lamp shade is a soft linen color, doesn’t lean yellow or tan… it’s the perfect parchment off white. The base is a bronze brown, looks vintage. This review is for the 70 inch LED touch control floor lamp. Item arrived fast and was packaged very well. It arrived in multiple pieces with easy-to-follow directions. Assembly took less than 10 minutes. The lamp is made of lightweight metal with some plastic and although it's not made extremely sturdy it will definitely offer the extra light I need to sew. It has several power choices for the light, a weighted base, and an electrical plug for power. I intentionally chose this light because I thought it would provide more light for sewing and it absolutely does! The top is bendable and adjustable enabling the light to be directed exactly where you need it.
