It is clear the cut manufacturing costs by having the electrical cord exit the base of the post as opposed to through the bottom of the base - which makes the view less "clean" but not a deal breaker. I wish they had photos of that when I was buying it. Easy to assemble, but the packaging is lacking and makes a mess when you unpackage the product for assembly.
