Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. I love this lamp so much, more than I even expected to. It’s very easy to assemble and it looks so nice. The light is bright and the remote control allows you to adjust the brightness as well as color tone (cool or warm lighting). There’s a foot pedal for turning it on/off if you don’t want to use the remote. The lamp faces the up towards the ceiling so the light doesn’t shine right in your eyes, can also be tilted if you want to illuminate an area to the side or highlight something on the wall. Exactly as pictured. I took one star off because it was missing the hex tool and I had to go buy one and also because I can’t use my wall switch to turn it off and on.
