The types and colors are designed using metallic salts during manufacturing. Each piece of real material is hand-cut and wrapped around each individual piece. The pieces are then welded by hand to create one-of-a-kind designs. As part of the finishing process, oil is added to the outside of the design to protect the material from erosion. The beauty of stained material is its versatility when illuminated by light. It will become more vibrant when lit.
