Works well for mostly used items. I wish I had of gotten the dark grey instead of stone color. I definitely need a bigger one for holding totes. This is a nice shed…after the hundreds of tiny bolts and nuts! Yes it sucked peeling all the plastic covering off, but if it hadn’t been on there, there would have been scratches in the paint. I was expecting that part. My fingers were not prepared for all the nuts and bolts! Other than that, it’s sturdy enough once it’s finally done. We live in a rural area so secured it to our fence also so that it didn’t get knocked over from the fierce winds we get here. We also set it on 16” square pavers to keep it from sitting in the dirt. Overall, for the price point, it’s a great little garden shed where I can keep all my gardening stuff in one place and not have to wonder where my husband has it this time LOL. Jen. We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. I ordered the shed in grey…it arrived on time and my handyman and I put it together in about 4 hours. It was a bit overwhelming but I am happy with the result. The floor was not very sturdy but my handyman solved that by putting treated wood below it and now it is very sturdy. In addition we used the hardware included and drilled it into the concrete slab we made for it to stand on.
