This is a nice shed…after the hundreds of tiny bolts and nuts! Yes it sucked peeling all the plastic covering off, but if it hadn’t been on there, there would have been scratches in the paint. I was expecting that part. My fingers were not prepared for all the nuts and bolts! Other than that, it’s sturdy enough once it’s finally done. We live in a rural area so secured it to our fence also so that it didn’t get knocked over from the fierce winds we get here. We also set it on 16” square pavers to keep it from sitting in the dirt. Overall, for the price point, it’s a great little garden shed where I can keep all my gardening stuff in one place and not have to wonder where my husband has it this time LOL. Jen. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. Was way easier to put together than I expected from reading other reviews. Also I was able to get every single hole to line up unlike all of the other people too. Maybe thats because Im a female - 37 yr old female who put this together alone. I found not separating the plastic washer part from the row easier to do rather than trying to hold onto the washer and screw I just held the washer next over (see random picture showing what I mean). I havent put the doors on, but dont expect an issue. Im looking forward to how this holds up in Denver, CO. Another thing is there seems to be a clear plastic over all of the metal parts, the manual didnt say if youre supposed to take those off.
