We liked the size and look of this shed for storing seasonal outdoor chairs and tables. Assembly took about 4 hours including a rain delay. Once we got the floor assembled the rest of it went pretty easily except for the roof which was a real challenge. We ended up securing two corners inside then tucking the rest of it in, otherwise we would get it tucked in and it would come out. Also the door panel had a small dent which I don't think will affect the durability but a little disappointing to have some damage on it. Overall this shed is extremely good for the price. The assembly took a good bit for two of us to put it together. The instructions can be a little difficult to understand at times so really pay attention to what the picture shows. The interior is huge! The headroom is great. Can easily stand up straight and have room to spare. The design has the windows caddie corner from each other, but I didn’t want one facing the house and it was simple to cut the notches for the trusses to fit into. If you want a good shed. We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. Got this to make into a chicken coop and it exceeded my expectations. I was able to build it solo without the help of my husband. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 6 x 4 metal shed is a great DIY outdoor storage. We are using it to store my son’s outdoor toys, plus adding any miscellaneous stuff in order to open up space in our garage. It’s a small shed, but you can really make the best out of the space. It has a sliding door for easy access, and vents to help circulate airflow in the shed. It took us over 4 ours to build; we might have been a little slow because there were some difficulties in lining up some of the premade holes that made us struggle a bit. When putting it together, I feared it would be too flimsy but as we finished building it, it was much more stable. However, we are going to secure it to something as a precaution because I’m not too confident it would survive the Santa Ana winds. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together.
