We enjoyed the final result but the shed was challenging to put together. Sometimes these instructions nowadays are difficult to read. A big problem was that there were very few pilot holes drilled and the "wood" didn't like to accept the screws that were rather large. Got this to make into a chicken coop and it exceeded my expectations. I was able to build it solo without the help of my husband. I did run into some challenging steps however I was able to troubleshoot what needed to be done when the instructions were lacking. Overall, I think that it is pretty good. We liked the size and look of this shed for storing seasonal outdoor chairs and tables. Assembly took about 4 hours including a rain delay. Once we got the floor assembled the rest of it went pretty easily except for the roof which was a real challenge. We ended up securing two corners inside then tucking the rest of it in, otherwise we would get it tucked in and it would come out. Also the door panel had a small dent which I don't think will affect the durability but a little disappointing to have some damage on it. We are using it to store my son’s outdoor toys, plus adding any miscellaneous stuff in order to open up space in our garage. It’s a small shed, but you can really make the best out of the space. It has a sliding door for easy access, and vents to help circulate airflow in the shed. It took us over 4 ours to build; we might have been a little slow because there were some difficulties in lining up some of the premade holes that made us struggle a bit. When putting it together, I feared it would be too flimsy but as we finished building it, it was much more stable. However, we are going to secure it to something as a precaution because I’m not too confident it would survive the Santa Ana winds. Here is my review of the Patiowell 8x8 Resin Storage Shed. First, Wayfair made the entire purchasing process seamless. Their website was easy to navigate, customer service was professional, and the FedEx deliveries (which arrived in two separate shipments) were handled quickly and efficiently. The shed arrived in five large boxes, and the FedEx delivery driver handled everything with care by placing the boxes neatly in the driveway. I was impressed with the thoughtful packaging. The components were securely protected with layers of Styrofoam, cardboard, and plastic straps to prevent damage during shipping. The shed itself feels sturdy, durable, and solid. Once all of the parts were organized, the instructions became easy to follow during construction. This project definitely requires two people, as many sections need to be assembled on the ground and then lifted into place. Once the base floor is completed, the rest of the build flows together step-by-step, including the walls, frame, roof, and doors. For tools and preparation, I highly recommend having a cordless drill, painter’s tape, extra bolts, and caulking for sealing the seams. Overall, assembling the shed was challenging and took about six hours to complete. Patience, organization, and a few extra supplies are essential for a smooth installation. This is a tin shed. You get what you pay for and it has exceeded my expectations. Overall took me 2 hours to build and I recommend a second set of hands for the first few wall panels. Instructions were better than other outfits that sell these sheds (clear with some words). Some holes didnt align but drilled through fine. Overall 90 was perfect during install. Likely 10 was my mistakes. There is no floor included in this shed. Even if you have a solid concrete slab I recommend putting on plywood as there are holes to secure it to. This makes it more water tight. With mine l build a platform out of 2x4 to keep it from sitting directly where water can puddle. Inside storage is good, fits my shovelsrakes weed eater (at an angle) and I found some shelves that fit the width length for great storage. If I had more room I would upgrade to a larger size of this same shed! Also it is worth mentioning this is not air tight. the ceiling does have gaps making it breathable but large enough for small critters to get into. Just saying in case you don’t want unwanted guest.. This storage shed is definitely put together well making for easy assembly. I love the color and design and I cant wait to fill it. The metal is as described but a little flimsy for what I was hoping. You need to be familiar with the sizes. Also need to familiarize yourself with the dimensions and how they are determined. My only complaint is the height of the lower roof because the highest measurement given is actually for the center and not the entire roof. This shed is nice! It’s not what I expected but so far it’s been good. It is very windy where we live and so far the shed has been super sturdy. It is resin and has channels. Not sure how the floor will hold up, but the walls once assembled seem great. Assembly is a lot of prep and it takes 2-3 people. Comes in pretty heavy boxes so be prepared.
